A Weekend of Music

This past Saturday was a busy day for music at Brunel, not only were we hosting an applicant day for prospective music students but the Hillingdon Music Festival was coming to campus! There was a lot on and plenty to see throughout the festival but Saturday was the finale and we hosted several events: a masterclass on recording an ensemble was hosted by Dr. John Croft, a set of computer music was performed by Brunel Alumnus James L Malone, the finale of the Graphic Score Competition was held and our special guest Nadia Ratsimandresy performed pieces on the Ondes Martenot. As well as this there were sound art installations throughout the Antonin Artaud building for attendees to interact with. The night was a success, you can find a few highlights in photographs below!
