Maestro John Croft featured on upcoming Richard Craig concerts!

Richard Craig, flute virtuoso extraordinaire, will be performing a solo concert featuring new works by student composers as well as John Croft, Brice Pauset and Salvatore Sciarrino 15 February at the  Alexander Gibson Opera Studio, Richard Craig solo recital, 5.30pm.

Then, just when you thought he might need to go off and rest a bit somewhere in the Scottish Highlands, he’ll be off to do lots of other concerts before finding himself in a duo with Jonathan Impett of the Meta-Trumpet.

25 February at 7:30pm in Strode Concert Room, University of East Anglia

These two international performers are established internationally in their development of extended techniques and use of current technologies in order to create new woodwind and brass instruments, such as the individually built Contra-Bass flute and the electronically extended trumpet. Includes pieces by John Croft and Luigi Nono with the percussionist, Simon Limbrick contributing for some combinations.
