What? Okay,the long form:
Carl Faia has been working with Spanish composer
José Manuel López López (1956)
over the last year at
Art Zoyd Studio in Valenciennes, France. The fruition of this residency will be a new work for percussionist
Miquel Bernat, solo vibraphone and live electronics. The premier of
VibraZoyd (the composer has a sense of humor) will be this Wednesday @7pm, 23rd January in the
Instituto Cervantes Paris during the formal ceremony where the composer will receive the
François et Mica Salabert 2011 SACEM prize for his work
Metro Vox In memoriam Iannis Xenakis. Several of the composer’s works will be performed during the occasion. If you’re around, it’s a free concert and you can come in after shopping on the Champs Elysées…
