American masterpiece… by Christopher Fox

If you like choir music (and who doesn’t like the mellifluous murmurings of a group of people using their natural born instrument to move us?), then you should reserve a place next Monday to hear The New London Chamber Choir & London Sinfonietta over in East London as part of the Spitalfields Summer Festival. On the program will be the early American composer William Billings, the mercurial director of the choir and composer James Weeks and, our favorite, the decidedly non-American composer Christopher Fox with his “early masterpiece American Choruses” (that’s a quote!). You can find out more by going here -> NLCC.

So, what do you think?
